I’m in a season of life where I want to think more intentionally about what I own, and how I live. I am drawn to smaller spaces and fewer possessions, but also to using things in my daily life that bring contentment and joy.
I love being surrounded by things that bear the mark of the maker - pieces with a history and a story of their own. For this reason, I make pottery for daily use in your everyday life. It is pottery for people who value the comfort of returning home to familiar things. In fact, I think of my work as "pottery to come home to."
I am affiliated with a collective called 2nd Story Potters. We are located in Suite 326 of Riverview Station, 191 Lyman Street in the River Arts District in Asheville. Our studio does not have set hours, but is frequently open between the hours of 11-5 on most days. I do not keep regular studio hours, but I'm happy to meet you there for an appointment. Just access the Contact section to request a day and time!
