I’m in a season of life where I want to think more intentionally about what I own, and how I live. I am drawn to smaller spaces and fewer possessions, but also to using things in my daily life that bring contentment and joy.
I love being surrounded by things that bear the mark of the maker - pieces with a history and a story of their own. For this reason, I make pottery for daily use in your everyday life. It is pottery for people who value the comfort of returning home to familiar things. In fact, I think of my work as "pottery to come home to."
Our 2nd Story Potters studio at Riverview Station was destroyed by the flood, and I am now working at the Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts. It is located in the River Arts District in Asheville – the address is 238 Clingman Avenue Extension. During winter months, the gallery of the Odyssey Center is open Friday – Monday from 11:00 – 5:00 (Closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). I do not keep regular studio hours, but I’m happy to meet you there for an appointment. Just access the Contact section to request a day and time!
